UFO Disclosure in Brazil

There has been a very serious movement, particularly by its government, towards UFO disclosure in Brazil.

Ufologist A.J. Gevaerd, joined by a group of investigators, has reportedly been pressuring the Brazilian military to release related files. Some thousands of petition signatures have apparently been generated though a UFO magazine.



Following discussions with the Brazilian Government, he highlighted a couple of significant incidents, where the military - apparently - turned over files detailing:


"Operation Saucer," in small community off the Amazon during the 70's. Where there was allegedlky "known contact" with aliens.

In an other incident, referred to as: "The Official Night of UFOs," (in 1986) a reported 21 objects, each about 100 meters (over 300 feet) in diameter, jammed air traffic radar in both Sao Paolo, Rio de Janeiro, as well as other cities.

Brazil has been a "hot-spot" for UFO investigators and researchers, with reports of such activity as sightings, abductions, and contact with alien beings.


Gevaerd says a 2,000 page military report, including photos and film footage, has been compiled. He claims he has obtained over 200 pages from the OFFICIAL document.
