London's Bombing Horror Captured on Cellphone Video
In the aftermath of London's recent subway explosions (July 7, 2005), deemed
a terroist attack, its interesting to note that it was reportedly
the first time in history that several U.S. television stations
used video taken from a cellular telephone.
Although the video was grainy and shaky, it definitely captured
the horror taking place.
Fox News Channel is said to have used the video clip
over a thousand times. It was taken by a commuter and first
aired on Britain's Sky News.

News stations have, in the past, relied on amateur video to
help in the reporting of major news stories, like last December's
tsunami.
As more people take advantage of the video capability of their
cell phones, its certain that more unexpected news events will
be broadcast by the news media.
