It was wedding bells, for country music star Kenny Chesney and
actress Renee Zellweger. They met in January at a tsunami
relief benefit. Their marriage took place May 9, 2005 on
the resort island St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Zellweger
wore a Carolina Herrera dress for the 15-minute ceremony on
the beach.
Zellweger, 36, and Chesney, 37, met at the "Concert of Hope"
tsunami relief event in January.
Chesney, the 2004 Country Music Association Entertainer of the
Year, has had the number one hits "She's Got It All," "How
Forever Feels," "The Good Stuff," and "When The Sun Goes Down."
Zellweger won the best supporting actress Oscar last year
for "Cold Mountain," and has received best actress nominations
for "Chicago" and "Bridget Jones's Diary."
