Fully Cooked Ground Beef in a Package

I know this has been around for awhile, but I recently decided to explore the potential of this product, and have been very impressed. Its basically fully-cooked ground beef, and comes in a flat 10.6 ounce sealed package, which is equivalent to a pound of fresh uncooked ground beef. There is no refrigeration needed, and its fully drained. All you have to do it crumble it up and heat it.

I'm not going to mention any brands, because there are many of them available, just check your local super market.

You can quickly utilize this in any number of recipes. Its great for quick sloppy joes, tacos, or spaghettis sauce, for example.

You can cook it up in your microwave, or toss it in the pot with anything you're cooking that requires ground beef.

I'll admit, I can't tell a difference between this stuff or ground beef I've cooked, myself, in a skillet. This takes much less time.

The brand I discovered comes lightly seasoned. Its also available with either Mexican or Italian spices.

I'd even imagine that campers or survivalists would find this a handy item to keep on hand.
