A Relaxation Technique
With the "rush-rush" of today's society, its amazing
how many people forget to take time out to relax.
Some folks probaby have forgotten how, or simply don't
know the "how-to's."
A good way to eliminate the day's stress is to
use some basic tools to achieve a soothing "quiet
time" environment. Calm yourself to relaxation
with candles, incense, and music. You could even
purchase a relaxation tape or CD, to help you
on your quest.
If you prefer, turn off the lights, or utilize a
darkened room. Light some candles (the smaller ones in
safe glass containers are best), choose an incense
fragrance that pleases you, and turn on some of your
favorite tunes, or your relaxtion tape or CD. If you
don't like incense, you can use scented candles. I
think aroma is important in this technique.
Let your mind go BLANK, or imagine yourself in a
place you enjoy, doing something you like to do.
Drift away to YOUR special, and happy place.
Be at peace, and feel the tension and stress of the day
leave your body.
