I almost can't believe its been that long ago, and a 40th Anniversay Edition is being released. One of its instrumentals, "A Taste of Honey," was a big success. The album cover featured a rather "naughty" photo (for its time). By the way, I still have the original LP. It stayed at number one on the hit charts for eight weeks. Read More... Both Jupiter and Saturn can be seen in the evening sky during April. Look for Jupiter in the southeast and Saturn in the Southwest. I telephoned my physician, requesting a week's supply of "samples." Not only did they helpfully provide me with enough to get me through, they actually provided me with well-over a month's worth! Keep in mind, this is a practice that you should NOT abuse. Its an emergency type of measure. My major point in this story is, if you're a diabeteic, make sure you ALWAYS take your medication, and if you get in a pinch, contact your doctor. He was a very prolific writer for Rolling Stone Magazine, as well as author of one of my favorite books, "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." Thompson, from the 60's and 70's era of the media, was a "journalist's journalist," in my opinion. Read more... In large format, I was limited to a 4x5 view camera. I also did all my own darkroom work. It seems, these days, I actually want to my take photography back a few notches and am exploring the allure of the Holga Camera.
