Listening to Records on My Hi-Fi

I guess this entry comes from an hisorical perspective. Although I am a serious music fan, I did not watch last night's televised Grammy Awards. Its probably due to my age. I didn't know many of the songs or artists, and don't want to, either. I feel the music industry has changed dramatically, in that Its more about the video and the marketing, rather than the song, itself.

Maybe its because I come from the days of vinyl records, instead of CD's, and glowing electron tubes, as opposed to transistors.

Fortunately, some things stay the same. B.B. King still plays the blues, and Willie Nelson still lives in Austin.
