Herb Gardening
Gardening season is upon us, and it doesn't matter what you are planting, gardens add many positive aspects to your life.
Since cooking is one of my many hobbies, I'm planting herbs, so I can have them fresh and ready to use.
Herb gardening is pretty easy, as the plants are very tolerant of poor soil. Just remember: They need at least 5 hours of sunlight a day.
Since I'm going to be using them for cooking, I'm going to make sure my herb bed easily accesible to the kitchen. The fragrance of fresh herbs is amazing. Besides using them for cooking, its enjoyable to have your garden near a relaxing, sitting area, where you can enjoy the aromas.
Here are some of my favorites: Lemon), Basil, Caraway, Chamomile, Chives, Coriander, Dill, Fennel, Lavender, Peppermint, Oregano, Parsley,
Peppermint, Rosemary, Sage, and Thyme.
Even if you live in the city, you can even have a small herb garden in pots, on your apartment's porch!
