Jerked Chicken (Chicken Jerky)
I haven't seen many recipes out, there that I've liked, for a Jerked Chicken (Chicken Jerky) Rub, so I figure I'd put mine out. Actually, the one I use can also be used for beef.
I hope you like it tangy and spicy!
Mix these together and use it for your rub, or even a marinade, for your jerky:
1/4 teaspoon cracked pepper
3/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 (or 3) large cloves of garlic, smashed
3 tablespoons dried cayenne pepper, ground
1 tablespoon habanero pepper sauce
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
2 tablespoons dry sherry
