The 9th Annual National Cornbread Cook-Off!
Being from the South, I'm a HUGE cornbread fan, so I wanted to pass this on...
Martha White and Lodge Cast Iron will be hosting the 9th Annual National Cornbread Cook-Off. Its part of the National Cornbread Festival.
10 finalist will compete to win the first prize of 4-thousand dollars, as well as a nifty FiveStar stainless steel gas range.
The National Cornbread Festival will be held in South Pittsburg, Tennessee on April 23, 2005.
The entry deadline is fast-approaching, its February 28th.

You must submit an original main dish recipe prepared with Martha White Cornbread Mix and cooked in Lodge Cast Iron cookware. See contest rules online.
The National Cornbread Cook-off has been around since 1997, as a celebration of "Southern Cooking."
