The Cookware Challenge
I recently aquired a new electric range, so I thought I'd treat myself to some new cookware.
As an experiment, I purchased some inexpensive pieces and some rather costly ones, just to cmpare.
I realize it doesn't take a real genius to figure this out, but the more expensive stuff fairs much better in overall tests I conducted.
If you're purchasing pots, skillets, bakewear, or whatever, I'd advise you spend the extra money on quality. No only does it "hold up" better, construction-wise, but I found it to cook more evenly, as well as clean up easier. If you're like me, and do alot of home cooking, quick cleanup is a must! The so-called non-stick
cookware that you can buy for a few bucks, actually isn't as "non-stick" as you'd think.
