Cheney Briefly Hospitalized - Webmasters React

I'd like to take this moment to thank you for reading my Blog. Thumbs up if you're a regular reader! You get a mix of all sorts of oddities, mainly my commentary, so this entry is not - particularly - out of the ordinary, but there are a few points I'd like to make.

I don't mean to bad mouth my own industry, but I regularly read a few webmasters message boards, and when the announcment came that Dick Cheney was hospitalized for tests, some posters actually wished him evil things.

Listen up! I don't give a what you think of the man, his politics, or his actions, I find it simply unacceptable to wish ANYBODY ill will! For one thing, its childish and immature, for another, well, its just plainly wrong to do that.

I realize that I grew up in a different era than many other webmasters, these days, and I DO believe in free speech, but it is UN-COOL to wish harm on another person, particularly the Vice President of the United States.

If you won't respect the man, people, AT LEAST RESPECT THE OFFICE!
