2005 Emergency Preparedness
As the year 2005 approaches, I'm reminded of Y2K. Just because. (LOL) Y2K was a fizzle, and I actually didn't expect anything to happen, I mean
, I didn't even have to reset anything on my computer when it was all over...AND it was a very old machine.
During the Y2K scare, I did (but I always do) have necessary supplies to survive. In case of any disaster, natural or otherwise, you should always keep what you need on hand.
Maybe a good New year's resolution for my readers is to continue to be prepared in the event of an emergency. If you're not prepared, learn what you need to do, so you can accomplish that goal.
By the way, on a very serious note, I know the so-called "giving season" is over, but relief efforts are underway in Asia and Africa from that horrific tsunami. I'm not even going to come close to reporting a death toll, as it changes every minute.
Here's something else I'd like you to do: You need to look into your soul and donate whatever you can to the relief efforts.

One hundred percent of donations made will go to American Red Cross disaster relief efforts.
