Do Animals Have a Sixth Sense?

Wildlife officials are, indeed, scratching their heads. The worst tsunami in memory has killed (at last word) 156,00 people, overall, but reportedly they can't find any dead animals.

At Sri Lanka's Yala National Park, in the ravaged southeast, the biggest wildlife reserve, and home to hundreds of wild elephants and several leopards, NO dead animals been recorded.

H.D. Ratnayake, Deputy Director of the National Wildlife Department, reportedly says that no elephants are dead, nor even a dead hare or rabbit has been found. He reportedly said he thinks animals can sense disaster, having a sixth sense.

This particular issue regarding the tsunami has been discussed many times, recently, on last weekend's Coast to Coast AM radio talk program with noted host Art Bell.

On a related note, Bell and Whitley Strieber, co-authored the book, "The Coming Global Superstorm," a book that spawned the recent hit movie, "The Day After Tomorrow."
